What a doll! It cries and won’t stop unless it gets careful,
constant parenting. It’s so much like a real baby that it keeps
teens awake at night trying to soothe the crying and keeps them tied

Artificial
babies teach real lesson
What’s it like caring for a baby? Misty Bartok said she didn’t get
much sleep the two nights she watched over an infant. “I was up and
down both nights,” Misty, a senior at West High, told other West
High students in a marriage and family-life class on Thursday.
Another senior, Tory Bentz, said a babysitter she had lined up to

‘A Night of Wine and Roses’ Raises funds for Causes
By
Christene Meyers Gazette Entertainment Editor
Three very different but equally worthy community projects
and two women furthering their education will benefit from a fun
night on the town this weekend. “A Night of Wine and Roses” is the
annual fund-raising event sponsored by Soroptimist International of
Billings. In its 13th year, the auction and wine tasting is
scheduled for this Saturday, Jan. 27, at the Hilands Golf Club
starting at 7 p.m. A selection of over 60 vintage wines will be
complemented by an hors d’oeuvre buffet. A silent auction featuring
artwork, trips and wines will also be presented.
Major recipients of the funds raised by the event this
year will be Family Tree Center, The Rimrock Humane Society and
Yellowstone River Parks Association. Funds are always donated to
local charities and individuals in the spirit of Soroptimist, which
is truly an international program.
According to publicity chairman Vicki Dunaway, “Every
year, we ask organizations to submit an application with budgets and
goals. A panel carefully evaluate them based on their worthiness.”
