The
mission of Soroptimists’ Young Artist’s Program is
to promote and encourage the visual arts at the high
school level. In addition to providing art students
a positive experience, Young Artist’s Program
provides them with an opportunity for recognition as
an artist in the community, while utilizing their
talents for the benefit of the community. The
students art, accepted in all mediums, will be
showcased at the Yellowstone Art Museum.
The Young Artist’s Program was initiated in 1996 and
is open to all high school art students residing in
Yellowstone County & surrounding areas. The Young
Artist’s competition provides the art students the
opportunity to receive financial recognition of
their talents. The student winning art is then
showcased at Soroptimist fund raiser "A Night of
Wine and Roses", where their work is sold for the
benefit of the community.
